Brookdale Community College.  The collaboration between the LVGA and Brookdale Community College has been very productive. more>

County Road 520. Newman Springs Road or CR520 is the major east-west highway that travels through the center of Lincroft. The LVGA has identified and addressed the following problems associated with this very busy road: congestion, unsafe pedestrian access, speeding, unsightliness, and poor parking lot entrance/exit design. Monmouth County is also studying proposals to improve conditions. more>

GSP & Rt 18 Access. The LVGA would like to see additional exits opened on both the Garden State Parkway and Route 18 to help reduce congestion in Lincroft caused by GSP exit 109. more>

Park. The land, saved through the efforts of the founding members of the LVGA and preserved as open space by the Township of Middletown, has become a beautiful park. more>

Parking Lot Access. Some of the congestion along CR520 is caused by poor parking lot entrance and exit designs and by the need for parking lots to interconnect. more>

Pedestrian Safety (Summary). The LVGA has identified various pedestrian safety problems, both in the center of Lincroft (more) and along Swimming River Road (here). Recommendations that the LVGA has made to improve pedestrian safety in the center of Lincroft are found here.

Swimming River Road. The LVGA has been working with local and county officials to preserve the residential nature of Swimming River Road. Current initiatives include maintaining the reduced speed limit of 35 MPH, minimizing the number of heavy trucks that use the road and providing safe crosswalks.  more>

Tree Streets. Residents living in the area between Swimming River Road and Phalanx Road have been plagued by Brookdale students who illegally use their streets as a short cut to the College. more>
