Lincroft Village Green Fundraising

Many generous and resourceful people have dedicated their time and effort to the concept and development of the Lincroft Village Green. The Lincroft Village Green is a special place thanks to Middletown Township, the many dedicated volunteers, the Board and Members of the Lincroft Village Green Association and all those businesses and individuals who donated so generously in support of our fundraising activities.

In early 2004 we kicked off our Corporate Fundraising Campaign with a significant donation from Bank of America and quickly followed by additional large donations of money or services from Brookdale Community College, Guttenplan’s Frozen Dough Specialists, and Super Foodtown. While these large donations formed critical cornerstones, it is the generosity of hundreds of businesses and individuals who supported the effort that has helped Lincroft get within sight of its goal.

The Lincroft Village Green Association is coordinating a variety of fundraising activities aimed at involving the entire community, both business and residential, in an effort to improve the Village Green with many wonderful amenities such as a stage and bathrooms. When complete, the Lincroft Village Green will be a real center piece in the heart of our business district and a gathering place for our entire community. As of May 2011 we have sponsored many community fundraising events:

• Seven Annual Community Yard Sales
• Bill Harley Family Concert
• Tom Chapin Concert/Picnic in the Park
• Party Dolls Concert/Picnic in the Park
• RB Express Concert/Picnic in the Park
• Three Polo Match and Tailgating Events

These events, together with generous support from leaders of our business community and a successful campaign to publish an Advertising Journal, have raised a combined total of $60,000.00 in contributions. Please support your community! Check this website often for updates on future community fundraising activities. Fundraising is a significant effort that reflects the support of many individuals and businesses not only in Lincroft but throughout Middletown and our surrounding communities as well. Thanks are extended to all those who have supported our activities.
