The Lincroft Village Green Association (LVGA) hosted its first ‘Candidates Night’ at 7:30 PM on October 14th at Lincroft School. The candidates for Middletown Township Committee (Steve Massell and Patrick Short) as well as the candidates for Monmouth County Freeholder (Sean Byrnes, John Curley and Stan Rosenthal) answered questions presented by the League of Women Voters and compiled by the LVGA. Approximately 200 members of the public attended, many of them submitting additional written questions for the candidates. Both the public as well as the candidates expressed their appreciation to the LVGA for organizing and hosting this important event, just prior to this year's general election.
