Annual Meeting - November 2008

The Lincroft Village Green Association held its Annual General Membership Meeting on November 12th at the Lincroft Inn. Approximately 50 people were in attendence, including our guest speaker, Middletown Planner, Jason Greenspan. Jason spoke about New Jersey state-mandated Affordable Housing quotas and how that affects Middletown residents.

In addition to Jason's presentation the LVGA presented its Annual Community Service Award to Jeff Ventrone for his work in beautifying the front sidewalk area and retaining wall at Lincroft's Library. In addition Jeff has taken it on himself to clean up roadside refuse at the main roads leading into Lincroft. Thank you to Jeff for his substantional volunteer efforts.

The following officers were elected or re-elected for the 2009 calendar year: Co-Presidents Carol Baker and Roger Foss, Vice-President Walter Horan, Treasurer Shar Seshadri and Secretary Susan Dzugan. New Board of Directors members elected included Lori Bennett, Melanie Elmiger and Peter Spring. In addition to the three new faces elected, our Board of Directors includes Tony Avallone, Heather Kimball Colella, Betty DeAngelis, Jill Henry, Mary Ellen Hintz, Chuck Hohenstein, Abe Littenberg, Mary Mahoney, Barbara Saggese and Linda Snyder. Thank you to all who are serving on our Board of Directors and as Officers.
